Now Hiring: Youth Program Coordinator 

Part-Time | 20-25 Hours/Week 

Opportunity to Grow into a Full-Time Leadership Position

Friendship Circle of Wisconsin is seeking a passionate, organized, and energetic Youth Programs Coordinator to lead our children's and teen programming while helping build the next generation of inclusive leaders.

Responsibilities:

Teen Leadership & Volunteer Program:

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor teen volunteers.

  • Coordinate the Teen Leadership Board, including meetings, leadership development, and service projects.

  • Support and engage teen volunteers throughout the year.

  • Build relationships with local schools and community partners to grow volunteer involvement.

Children's Programming:

  • Oversee some Sunday children's programs throughout the year (about once a month)

  • Plan and coordinate Art & Baking Buddies and other inclusive youth programs.

  • Work closely with instructors, volunteers, and families to create meaningful experiences.

  • Coordinate and oversee the Friends@Home program

  • Develop new programs that promote friendship, inclusion, and belonging.

Family Engagement & Communications:

  • Build strong relationships with participating families through phone calls, text messages, and emails.

  • Capture photos and videos during programs to promote Friendship Circle through social media and marketing.

  • Assist with program promotion, registration, flyers, and participant communication.

  • Celebrate participant and volunteer successes by sharing stories and program highlights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, teens, or volunteers.

  • Background in youth programming, nonprofit work, recreation, or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week
