Art & Baking Buddies Coordinator

Part-Time | Seasonal | $25/hour | 4-5 hours/week

Friendship Circle is looking for a warm, creative, organized Art & Baking Buddies Coordinator to work alongside Leah in running Art & Baking Buddies—an inclusive program bringing together children of all abilities and teen volunteers through art, baking, friendship, and inclusion.

Schedule

Fall • Winter • Spring
Three 6-week series with breaks in between. CURRENTLY LOOKING JUST FOR FALL SESSION

Tuesdays | 3:30–6:30 PM during program weeks
Plus 1–2 flexible prep hours during the week.

Planning begins: August/September
Fall series begins: Tuesdays, October 6- November 10 2026
Pay: $25/hour

Main Role

Run the Art Centers during the Tuesday program, including preparing activities, engaging the children, supporting teen volunteers, and keeping the Art Studio running smoothly.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Help plan weekly art and baking activities and order supplies.

  • Set up the Art Studio, snacks, and welcome activities.

  • Coordinate groups and volunteer buddies.

  • Communicate with and support teen volunteers.

  • Make sure every child is included and supported.

  • Take photos/videos and upload to PhotoCircle.

  • Help with weekly social media and parent recaps.

  • Help prepare the final Art Gallery and parent celebration.

  • Communicate with Leah and be flexible when plans change.
