Children

The Friendship Circle is comprised of a corps of teenage volunteers who serve children and adults with special needs by involving them in a rich array of friendships and social programs that give them a sense of belonging and self-worth.  In addition to the direct benefits to the individuals with special needs, their family members benefit from the respite and support the Friendship Circle provides, while the teen volunteers discover their own youthful compassion and idealism, in effect cultivating a new generation of communal leaders.
